Мета уроку:
-
вчити
свідомому, логічному оформленню власної думки;

розвивати
вміння вживати лексику теми в усних та письмових висловлюваннях;

закріпити у
вправах граматичний матеріал (Passive Voice);

практикувати
учнів в аудіюванні тексту;
- сприяти
розвиткові пізнавальних інтересів учнів,
розширенню їхнього світогляду, формуванню художнього смаку;

виховувати
любов до прекрасного.
Міжпредметні зв’язки: література, мистецтво, історія.
Тип уроку: урок засвоєння нових знань.
Форма уроку : нестандартна, урок – салон.
Очікувані результати:учні повинні вміти вживати лексику теми, логічно
оформлювати власну думку; уміти застосовувати граматичний матеріал; підвищення
пізнавального інтересу.
Обладнання та наочність: підручник, схема – таблиця
«Art», картки взаємоперевірки, альбоми з репродукціями видатних митців, відео,
презентація, комп’ютер, проектор, мультимедійна
дошка, прилади для художників.

Dear
friends! Welcome to our salon, where the
atmosphere is warm and cosy. And the weather outside is nice, isn’t it?
Do
you know what the word “salon” means? It’s the French word and one of its
definitions is the official exhibition of art works, started in Paris at the
end of the seventeenth century. So let
me introduce myself. I’m E.V., the owner of this salon.

Today we are going to speak
about art and famous painters and to visit some British and Ukrainian museums.
Are you ready to discuss our topic? Let us start.

Hippocrates, the Greek
physician and philosopher said, “Ars longa, vita brevis” which means: life is
short, art is longer.
Teacher: Do you agree with Hippocrates?
Student:
Yes, I agree.
T.: What is art? You can
think. Is it culture? Is it painting? Is architecture an art?
St.:Yes, painting is an art, a sculpture is an
art, etc.
T.: One of the definitions
of the word art is the study or creation of beautiful things. What works of art
can you name? I read the words and you watch the pictures in the books: a
sculpture. Can you find a sculpture in the picture in your book? (an
architecture, music, literature, a painting) They are paintings, pieces of
music, architecture, films, poems, sculpture, etc.

Now
I’d like to teach you the new words that describe different genres of art. Look
at the screen and
guess their meanings:

And it’s time to
visit London, which is famous of its museums and art galleries . Watch the
video and try to understand it. But before watching let us discuss the
questions you have on the cards,watch the video once more and do the
comprehension check, then change the
cards with your neighbors and compare them with the true answers on the screen.

а) Презентація
картини з граматичним завданням (Passive Voice),
робота в зошиті.
You have been divided into 3 groups, choose the
leader in each group who will conduct your following work: you can see the
reproductions of the pictures by the famous French impressionist Henri Matisse
on your desks and on the screen. The following task is to write down some
sentences in Past Passive into your copy-books, using the new words. Eg. This
picture is named “Blue Tablecloth”. It was painted by Henri Matisse in 1909.
This panting was created in oil on canvas. ( The patterns are written on the
blackboard). The experts try to sound your examples.
б) Ознайомлення з картинами видатних художників –
імпресіоністів. Говоріння.
The exciting
movement of French painting started at the end of the 19th and at the beginning
of the 20th century. It is very popular today as well. I’d like to
show some masterpieces of impressionism which are kept in different museums and
art galleries all over the world. They are created by such impressionists
as …
You may choose the pictures you like and describe them using the new
words.

б) Слухання тексту підручника із завданням (вставити пропущене).
в) Заохочення до самоосвіти – пропозиція створити проект
про видатного українського художника О.Мурашка.
Thus
there are a lot of famous museums around the world (ex.2 on p.162): in London,
Washington, Paris, Madrid and of course in Kyiv. Listen to the text about one
of the Ukrainian museums ( p. 163) and
complete the sentences. Then read them one by one. You’ll have to finish the
second part of the text at home, reading it on p.295-296 of this textbook. The
additional task for home is to make the project file about one of the famous
Ukrainian impressionists О.Murashko.
